Instructions for SPEAKERS

Presentations should be prepared in PowerPoint, using the available presentation template.

​​Presentations must be delivered in English, as English is the official language of the Conference.

​​

An assistant will be available on site to show how to use the computer to run the presentation.

 

Speakers will not be allowed under any circumstances to come with their own laptop.

It will not be possible to connect it.

Instructions for Tutorial/Workshop Organizers

STEP 1

Tutorial/Workshop Organizers are expected to collect the slides from all speakers and send them to Ramon Vilarino (Tutorials/Workshop Chair) by Monday  24 August 2026.

Each set of final presentations must be compiled into a single ZIP file, named using the code and title of the tutorial/workshop.

 

STEP 2

Presentations will already be available in each workshop/tutorial room.

Only speakers who really need to make last-minute changes will be allowed to provide an updated version of their slides to the technician on site on Monday morning.

Instructions for CONFERENCE PRESENTERS

Step 1

Presenters are kindly requested to send a first draft of their presentation slides, together with a short biography (one paragraph), to their respective session chairs by Monday, 24 August.

This allows the session chairs to review the presentation and provide feedback. Contact details for the session chairs can be found on the EPapers website.

 

Step 2

Conference presenters should bring the latest version of their presentation on a USB drive and submit it directly to the on-site technicians before the morning conference sessions begin or during the scheduled breaks. Conference presentations can also be delivered to the technicians starting on Monday.

 

A PDF version is preferred.

We strongly recommend submitting your presentation in PDF format to avoid compatibility issues.

If you wish to submit a PPTX version, please also provide a PDF copy as a fallback.

If the PPTX file does not display correctly on the presentation computer, the PDF version will be used instead.

 

Except for keynote talks, each regular presentation at ESSERC 2026 is allocated 20 minutes:

  • 15 minutes for the presentation

  • 5 minutes for questions and answers (Q&A)

Timing is crucial at ESSERC 2026, so we kindly ask all presenters not to exceed their allocated time.

 

File Naming Instructions

  • Presentation (PDF): session code_paper ID_presenter's last name

  • Presentation (PPTX): session code_paper ID_presenter's last name

  • Short Bio (PDF): session code_paper ID_BIO_presenter's last name
