INVITATION LETTER request
GENERAL INFORMATION
SPAIN is a member state of the European Union and a member of the Schengen Area.
All international visitors from non-EU countries must present a valid passport when entering and may be required to have a valid Visa.
Please refer to the following websites to check if you require a visa to enter the European Union:
If you need a visa, we recommend applying for a Schengen Visa at the SPANISH Embassy or Consulate in your country at least two months before the intended travel date.
HOW TO RECEIVE YOUR INVITATION LETTER
If you need an official invitation to get the visa to attend the Conference, you may request it by filling out this form with your personal data.
Please name the file using your family name and send it to lluis.marsal@urv.cat, with Cc to benjamin.iniguez@urv.cat.
If you are a paper presenter, workshop/tutorial organizer, session chair, sponsor representative, or invited speaker, mention it in your email, so that it is indicated in the official invitation letter you will receive.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
The official invitation letter (in Spanish) will be sent to you by email with an attached PDF file.
This is the invitation letter to be presented (either electronically or in person, depending on the country) to the Spanish consular office/ embassy Spanish Foreign Ministry
If you would like to receive a hard copy of the invitation letter via courier or shipping agent, please arrange for a courier service on your own.
The processing time takes up to 10 working days.
Please note that the invitation letter will only be sent to delegates who have already paid their registration fee.
In case of visa refusal, the amount paid for registration is refundable, except for an administration fee of Euro 50.
An official document attesting to the visa refusal is required. Refunds will be processed after the Conference.
